Accutane and sunlight

Hello everybody!

I've come back with a new topic...Roaccutane and sun.

It's summer, the sun is shining and everybody has a great tan. I know that I should avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds).

Roaccutane can make skin more sensitive to sunlight and is possible to result sunburn.

Last time when I visited my dermatologist , I've asked her what should I do if I wanna go to the seaside for a couple of days.

She said:

- with two days before and during the time when I'm on the beach I shouldn't take the pills

- I should not expose directly to the sun; no sunbath. I'll stay under the umbrella :D

- use a cream for the face and the body with a sun protection factor > 50

- use sunglasses

I'm glad that for a few days I can go and have a bath in the sea...! I love it..! it's one of my favorite ways to relax..I can hear the sound of the waves...:)

I realized that now I don't have a cream for my face with a sun protection factor. I searched on the internet some reviews and I think I will buy a Vichy Capital Soleil . It's a little expensive but I hope that it work. It has a SPF of 30 and 50. I think it's enough.

Have a nice day and a great skin !
