A must for acne healing: Patience

I think that one of the most important things that help you get through the acne treatment is the patience. Only with the passing of the time the treatment will act, the pimple and the scars will pass.

If you want to treat your acne, first of all, you need a good doctor... a very good doctor. He will consult you and prescribe pills or creams.
After that you have to do 2 things:
  •           Do exactly what he/she tells you to do.
  •           Wait for the skin to improve.

I remember that many times I gave up. For example, in high school, I had pretty advanced acne: oily face and oily hairs, cysts and so on…you know the story J

I went to a doctor that recommended me some creams and liquid solutions to apply on my face, on my back and also on my hair.  I used the cream for 2-3 weeks and after I saw that they don’t work, slowly, I gave up. I didn’t return to that doctor and I didn’t use the products anymore; the acne persisted.
You shouldn’t do that. You must do exactly what they recommend and you must have patience...if your acne is moderate or really serious, it won't pass in a week or in a month even you use the best products in the world. The skin needs time to recover.

·          If your acne isn’t so severe you should see results in a while. If you don’t, change the treatment or…the doctor J

In November, when I started my Roaccutane treatment I’ve done EVERYTHING that my doctor told me to do: I’ve taking the pills, I’ve take many blood tests, I used moisturizing cream and so on. After a period I saw the results: everything was amazing.

·         The message of today: Wait, all the good things worth the waiting.:)
